The Reiss Orphanage

Diana Heim is a 20 year old Joker from the Kingdom of Luxuria. Along with her two siblings, she is currently a member of the Joker group, Lierre. Additionally, Diana is one of the few children to survive the Reiss Orphanage Massacre.

History[]

Before her birth and that of her siblings, Diana's family had experienced anomy and segregation in West Tristitia due to their affiliation to remote colony known to the locals as having close ties to Cavum. While true, the resultant abuse and harassment experienced by the colony as a whole was a true injustice. Unable to flee East towards their people, the colony and the Heim family fled west, living as gypsies on the outskirts of Luxuria hoping to avoid the reign of the Faith but still practice the religion of Cavum.

As the gypsie colony lived their life of rummaging off of scraps looted from villages; they would soon find the current way of living was not sustainable. Helena Heim now pregnant with triplets found it particularly hard to manage especially with her husband Joseph constantly on the move looking for food. Jacob however was a skilled hunter, and with his skills came food for his family. During his wife's third trimester he embarked on a hunt which saw him bring food that would last his colony months; and just in time for his wife to give birth to three beautiful children, Grayson, Diana and Anastasia. But something Jacob brought home caught the eye of the colony elders. 3 connected banana's, black in color with outlines and bruises highlighted in blood red. The elders kept it safe.

As the Heim triplets grew up and the OGene developed, the blessings Cavum had granted onto the colony grew worse. While Jacob continued to hunt well for his family, the rest of the colony grew jealous. They began to see the triplets as a curse they had to deal with. Thinking the aforementioned fruit was poisonous and that it had been delivered by the God of Death; the elders sought to it that 1 banana would be consumed by each of the Heim children. When they were fed they did not die. Only mention that it tasted disgusting. Unbeknownst to the elders; the Heim children had not been poisoned but given the tools to eventually become one of the most lethal forces of nature known to not only the Counter-Joker Agency but the whole world. The Cerberus.

Deducing that the elders had just tried to poison their children, Jacob and Helena took them and fled. Soon after they were hunted and lynched, the entire colony determined to put the Heim kids to a stake. The resultant Lynch led to the death of their father Jacob and their mother Helena begging for her life as they drowned her in the Lake of Babel. Too confused and scared to fight for their own life, the children were nailed to an upside-down cross and torched by their colony. And then the fires spread, and kept spreading. Screams filled the air, even the lake could not save those who screamed in terror, as even it burned too. Eventually as the fires calmed, leaving only fire and blood and anguish. The Heim children, nowhere to be seen.

Powers and Abilities[]

Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Hellhound[]

Inu Inu No Mi Model Hellhound

Hellhound

The Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Hellhound is a Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit, allowing Diana to transform into a hellhound and gain its powers, gifting her superhuman physicality, fire manipulation, and the use of a mystical element known as Hellfire. Like all Zoan users, Diana is able to fully transform, as well as take on a more powerful hybrid form. However, demonstrating far more control over her Zoan than most, Diana is able to transform specific body parts at a time as well.

Battle Form - Diana generally dislikes taking her full hellhound form and will avoid it if possible, and generally attempts to be as low key about her usage of the fruit as she can. This has lead to Diana developing her own unique hybrid form which she simply refers to as "Battle Form". In this form, her nails sharpen into claws, her teeth become pointed, her muscles bulge, her hair and eyes take on a purple hue, and the ears of her hellhound form appear near the top of her head. The strength of this form seems to be no different than the regular hybrid form of a Zoan user.

  • Superhuman Physicality - This Devil Fruit gives Diana an incredibly powerful physique in her hybrid form(s), granting her massively superhuman levels of strength, speed, stamina, and durability. In addition, Diana's senses of smell and hearing are also enhanced exponentially. Most Zoans allow their user to demonstrate superhuman feats, but the Hellhound is a particularly powerful, Mythical Zoan, demonstrating far greater power than your typical fruit.

Fire Manipulation - Diana's hellhound fruit also gives her the capabilities to control and create fire and heat, and makes her essentially invulnerable to them both. Diana is unable to create particularly complicated shapes out of her flames, generally limited to releasing it in streams or bursts, usually from her mouth, hands, or feet. With that being said, these flames are still incredibly dangerous, able to melt through even stone or metal and easily reduce living beings to ash. When released from her mouth, Diana is able to produce vast swaths of flame, but the size of her flames are far more limited when generated from her limbs instead, though they are no less scorching. Diana is also able to utilize streams of intense flame to propel herself at greater speeds, bolstering her capabilities in hand to hand combat significantly.

  • Hellfire - More uniquely however, Diana is able to create a magical purple flame known as Hellfire, which is even able to burn other flames, and absorb the heat from other elements such as magma and types of light. Moreover, Hellfire is additionally able to burn the very souls of Diana's targets, as well as handicap their ability to heal from wounds inflicted by this mystical element, this ability referred to as "The Hellhound's Curse".

Haki[]

As a Pirate, Diana is able to utilize the power known as Haki. There a three types of Haki, of which Diana is currently able to use two, Armament and Observation. Simply, Diana is able to sense the life force of others, and manipulate her own.

Armament Haki - Essentially, this ability allows Diana to surround herself with an "armor" made from her own lifeforce, appearing as a pitch black coating. This armor is incredibly powerful, protecting Diana from any form of attack, as well as greatly amplifying the force behind her strikes. Diana is able to coat other objects in this armor as well, giving them the same properties it gives herself. Additionally, Armament Haki allows Diana to bypass the effects of certain Joker powers, such as the intangibility provided by Logias, or other effects, because it allows her to attack the "substantial body" of her target.

Observation Haki - This form of Haki allows Diana to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. Diana is essentially able to see their "aura", which additionally lets her gauge the power of those she senses. Furthermore, this allows Diana to sense and potentially empathize with the emotions and nature of other beings. Moreover, Observation Haki's main combat advantage, is that it gives Diana to sense and predict the movements of her opponents and other dangers shortly before they occur.

Six Powers[]

The Six Powers are a special, superhuman martial arts style, also known as Rokushiki. Diana has mastered all six of the techniques of the Six Powers, as well as the secret seventh technique.

  • Moonstep - Moonstep allows Diana to jump off of the air itself, allowing her to travel through the air without ever touching the ground.
  • Iron Body - A technique that allows Diana to harden her own body, allowing her to resist powerful attacks as well as deliver crushing blows with her hardened physique. Most users are unable to move whilst utilizing this technique, but Diana has mastered it to the extent that she is able to harden specific areas, allowing her to move freely whilst using Iron Body.
  • Finger Pistol - A close combat technique in which Diana jabs her target with her finger with incredible speed, leaving wounds similar to a bullet hole. This technique can be used incredibly rapidly and accurately, and its deadly potential is increased even further when combined with the claws of a Hellhound.
    • Flying Finger Pistol -By jabbing the air instead of the opponent directly, Diana is able to fire off a powerful compressed bullet of air at her enemy.
  • Tempest Kick- A projectile technique in which the user traditionally kicks through the air with incredible speed and power, launching a blade of condensed air at their target. This can be used with other appendages however, as well as weapons.
    • Tempest Claw - Instead of her leg, Diana rapidly swipes her claws through the air while in her Battle Form, launching several smaller blades of condensed air at once instead of the single large blade of the traditional Storm Leg.
  • Shave - This technique allows Diana to move at incredibly high speeds, amplifying her already superhuman pace, by essentially kicking off the ground multiple times with incredible power.
  • Paper Art - Paper Art allows Diana to make her body extremely flexible, bending like a piece of paper to float out of the way of attacks.
  • Six King Gun - The ultimate attack of the Six Powers fighting style, available only to those who have mastered the other six techniques. This technique is used by placing the fists together in front of your target, focusing your physical strength to launch a devastating shockwave of pure power. This attack is able to do crippling damage both externally and internally.

Demon Eater[]

Diana is a Demon Eater, an Exorcist that has forced a demon to possess them in order to gain their powers. Although in Diana's case she was forced as well, as a cult of Cavum wanted to make her a suitable wife for their Death God. Diana is possessed by numerous members of the Keres, female death-spirits from Greek mythology that are thought to personify violent death. Daughters of Nyx, the goddess of Night, the Keres were known to hover over battlefields, searching for the wounded and dying to feed on. Among the Keres possessing Diana is Achlys, an entity symbolizing the "mist of death", and referred to as the personification of misery. These powerful spirits grant Diana various abilities.
